Handling and Shipping

 Delivery is through a national courier and is usually achieved within 2-5 business days.

 We have kept all freight rates to a minimum. In addition to the Shipping Fees some items also incur a Handling Fee. This Handling Fee covers the increase in packaging and shipping costs for parcels that are outside the courier's specified dimensions.

 Rural Deliveries are charged an extra fee.

 Bayswater Windsports reserves the right to change the freight charge on any item at any time. If the cost to freight an item is substantially more than what is shown on this website, Bayswater Windsports will charge the difference in freight charge to the customer.

 We make sure that all goods are carefully packed. Should the goods be damaged upon delivery, then please contact us immediately so that we may follow up with the courier. We shall not be liable for failure to deliver on a timely basis due to causes beyond our control.

 If Bayswater Windsports makes a mistake in addressing then we'll cover any costs for re-delivery, replacement or refunding of the product. If the Customer is found to have given an incorrect or insufficient address, then Bayswater Windsports will not refund or resend the product and all responsibility for correcting delivery will be borne by the Customer.

 International customers – Please email for freighting quote. Bayswater Windsports will not accept any liability or make compensation payments for loss, damage, delayed delivery or parcels halted by customs and subject to inspection fees. We urge you to check your country's legislation for any items prohibited by any law, regulation or statute of any country or state to, or through which the items may be shipped.


Ordering and Paying


We have three payment options for you to choose from:

3. Call us and pay by card over the phone


 Bayswater Windsports has the right to refuse the sale or supply of any product where we deem appropriate. Every effort will be made to supply you with your order, however, we do not accept liability should we decline an order or fail to supply due to unforeseen circumstances.


Where a product on the website has a price of zero, the product is likely to be out of stock and therefor unable to purchase. Any purchase of a product for zero dollars will not be considered valid and we will contact the customer to inform that the sale will not go ahead, however we will happily discuss with the customer further options to purchase a similar product. If a transaction for a product with a price of zero is processed and payment is made for freight, we will not continue with the transaction and will refund the freight for that item.


Cleared payment is required prior to us shipping orders.


All Credit Card transactions take place in a fully secure shopping cart environment. Once the transaction has been processed the card details are removed from our system. We do not keep any credit card details on file.


Bayswater Windsports gives its customers the option to pay using internet banking and direct crediting the money directly into our account. If the Customer credits money to an incorrect bank account number, and the correct number was provided to the Customer, then Bayswater Windsports will not accept any responsibility for correcting payment and the goods will not be dispatched.


Back Orders – If there is any unexpected delay of the product, you will be notified by email. An estimated date of departure will be given and you will have the right to cancel your order.

 While we make all efforts to check pricing and product availability and endeavour to eliminate all other errors, inadvertent errors do occur from time to time and Bayswater Windsports reserves the right to decline orders arising from such errors. Returns Guarantee

 You can buy online with confidence through Bayswater Windsports. We offer our Customers a 14-day Returns Guarantee from the date of purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase then please follow this procedure and we shall organise your prompt replacement, refund or credit:

 1. Contact us to let us know that you would like to return an item and arrange your Returns Option.  Returns Options include  exchange, refund or credit. Call (09) 445-6300 or email info@windsports.co.nz

 2. Repack the item very well. It is our policy that only items that are in resaleable condition will be accepted under our Returns Guarantee.

 3. You need to send back your packing slip as proof of purchase. Please ensure that the name, address, email address and phone number of the Customer are recorded on slip. Take a copy for your records.

 4. Return the package using your choice of courier to:

Please note that Cash On Delivery returns will not be accepted and that shipping costs will not be refunded.

 As mentioned, the items must be in resaleable condition for them to be accepted under our Returns Guarantee.

 Exceptions: Due to copyright laws a refund or exchange of a DVD is only available if the product is defective. These products are still guaranteed under the Consumers Guarantees Act.

 In accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 any goods that are faulty or not of good quality, the customer has the right to a repair, replacement or refund.



Returns Options


The options available to our customers when they return a product are:

 Exchange – If you find that a product that you've received is unsatisfactory then we will gladly exchange it for another item of the same purchased value. Proof of purchase is required but may be waived if we believe that we have sold the product.

 Refund – Our 14-day Returns Guarantee refund on purchase means you can buy online with confidence. Refunds will be paid out in the same tender that was received. Cheques must clear before refund will be issued. Due to copyright laws DVD's are not eligible for refund. In order to receive a refund you must have a proof of purchase.

 Credit – You are welcome to receive your refund in terms of a shop credit. These will be issued in the form of Gift Vouchers. These gift vouchers can be used either online or at any of our stores. Credit is subject to normal terms and conditions of Gift Vouchers.


Bayswater Windsports Gift Vouchers

 Bayswater Windsports Gift Vouchers can be used to purchase anything from our online store or directly from one of our stores.

 Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

 Gift voucher will not be made out for any value less than $5.

 Check the expiry date on your voucher. Please be aware that vouchers that have expired will no longer be accepted.
